Are we insulting God?

What does it mean to be for God? Worshiping God isn't for you, it's for God. God doesn't need our help, we don't do worship band in order to help God out. We do worship band because we want to show people how amazing God actually is. God doesn't need us, if you are leading worship to help out God you have the wrong motives in mind. We want to lead people to God without having the wrong mindset of that we are helping God out or doing God a favor.

    I like how you said we do not worship God to help him out. He does not need our help. Also, the point you made about wrong motives during worship was also really good.
